My ND and I had discussed it before as a possibility for combating gasses in the intestines. Since it can also 'grab' on to medications, I was hesitant in trying since I was taking more pills/doses at the time. I'm taking a little less now, so we discussed it again. She suggested just trying a small amount and see how it goes, so I think I finally might do so. But, was wondering if anyone has tried it, how much, how long, and did they like it?

Thanks everyone! rolleyes.gif

I took it for a short while a couple of years ago. For some reason I never figured out, I was passing the most horrendous smelling gas and it just wouldn't quit for a few months. It was awful. blink.gif My family stayed clear of me and I couldn't stand myself I was even taking probiotics, so I know it wasn't due to lack of good bacteria. The charcoal seem to help absorb odors so that the gas wasn't so malodorous. The problem finally went away as mysteriously as it appeared.

yep - gave to DH just last week for a bad attack of trapped gas - two caps two nights in a row did the trick - my grandma used to swear by it too.....don't take within two hours of any other meds and it should be fine...sometimes the simplist things are best....

Thanks gals. sounds like I might just give it a go. And, good tip about when to take it, that helps alot. I have stuff I take spread out thru the day, but I'm sure I'll be able to work it in, especially if it 'as needed'. smile.gif
