Years ago when I had my hysterectomy I was working in an office in the middle of winter. Of course they had LOTS of heat going. They put me a fan under my desk and sent workers into the ceiling to block off my vent LOL! I was only 27 yrs old ugh! Glad to hear they turned to air on but so did my hubby and now after I have a hotflash I FREEZE! hehe! Thank goodness I have a patient hubby

Yesterday I had lots of hot flushes, not sure why as these sage tabs seem to be working. I mentioned this to hub...he said I was pretty good at holding my temper then!! Most times if I have a hot flush my temper goes up with it, only if someone talks to me. I don't understand this...hub always says to my son ...if you see Mum having a hot flush RUN!!! I think it's funny but not a flush time...LOL.

I did say to him though, I hate it when men make jokes of Hot flushes/flashes because it really feels like I will self combust and I guess that's why the temper goes up as well. I also can get freezing cold after too godsteddy, this mainly happens at night or during winter, but after a hot flush it feels great!!

I feel for you girls ((((Hugs)))) My flashes and sweats have eased but only slightly. I'm 2 years post and still get them but less severe. This heatwave hasnt helped We had 98 degrees here yesterday after 3 days of 90's. Thats just to steamy for us menopause gals.

I believe sage is known to have estrogenic properties. One time when I was using a phytoestrogenic transdermal cream, it had sage in it.

LOL! I just read this but it's funny because I was just in the bathroom and thinking "I really need to go on Power Surge and tell them about this". THIS being that my hubby has turned on the air now and it freezes me BUT I am becoming close and personal friends with my BATHROOM! hehe! Every time I have a hot flash and walk in the bathroom it feels like Antartica W O N D E R F U L! I was just thinking I need to move my desk and chair iin their and how would I fit them cuz I have a feeling I will be in there A LOT this summer!! I did consider just getting a cushion to put on the top of the toilet seat when I put it down and then use the sink for my desk My husband just said he could build me a tray to come off the wall like the airline tables and I could sit on my "throne" and work Oh yay![size="2"][/size]

SAME here.....1 gal who is 28 is always warm so she said I am glad someone else wants the air on or the window opened. Today its 57 outside but the humidity is 95% It's already 75 in this office at 8:30 am

I used to be one of those people. I never even unpacked my sweaters this winter. I wore only cotton tops. I can't take these sweats much longer. all day every day, I sweat through my clothes. It pours off my face, down my back, & inbetween my toes. I CAN'T STAND IT!

I have a different feeling that i cant explain i have these hot places in my head, either on one side or the other or both, they are quite irritating and scary Please Help!!!!

Are you having any other symptoms with that? Visual disturbances, dizziness, headache? How long has this been going on? Are you on any meds and iff so which ones?
