k girls, ready??? S M O O C H !!! Aha! Got ya! But seriously girls, I am seeing so much gloom and doom here lately (YES! including my own posts! ) and I think we all need air of something FRESH! Sooooo, I will TRY (Snort, honk, hahahahaha!) (opps, was the ME?) To post ONE thing (hoping I can find it) that is positive about my day. I find people here gravitate toward ANY kind of hope and positive feelings and that's a wonderful thing. So, today so far I am:

Hearing birdies sing me beautiful songs right outside my door!

We have starlings that come back to nest in the end of our house every year and they are BACK! She has her babies in there and in the early morning hours as I sit here I can here the babies (once they hatch of course!) tweeting and moving around. It is such a soothing sound for me!

It gonna be ANOTHER warm summer day and I think I'll play in the water with kids today...hmmmm, wonder if my new furbaby likes water hehehe!

I woke up this morning and was able to get out of bed and go to a job. There are people that are unable to get up in the morning and lots of people that dont have jobs so YES I am really happy !!!

Ok, Ladybugs..................I'll try my best not to complain today. I've been one of the "gloom and doomers" on here lately. I'm going to sit on my back patio with my coffee and watch the river go by. It's getting pretty high because of the melting snow from the surrounding mountains here. I got up this morning, thank God, and drove my son to school. Afterward I went grocery shopping, all by myself (something I've not been doing).

Thank you for starting this thread! I've been dealing with just about ALL the peri/meno symptoms for the last 11 years, and I've been through times of feeling so down that I had to look up to see my feet. Despite all of the trials and tribulations that I've faced these last 11 years I cherish those times when I'd come to PS and read words of encouragement from women who have been through so much, survived , and are now enjoying their life.

Texasgirl...what a wonderful serene image your words have painted in my mind . I wish I could sit with you and watch the flowing river and see those amazing mountains. Ugh...I'm envious, lol .

I too woke up and went to work today. I am so grateful to have a job, and one that I enjoy.

I felt very strange today ( you know, the usual) but got on just fine anywhere.

Just find one tiny little thing that was a good thing--like my $1 scratch off ticket. You can do it! Was it your first sip of coffee this am, talk to a grandchild on the phone, pet your furbaby...?

I was having a hard time finding any good today....i woke up with a migraine and sinus problems...had to go to work....blah blah blah yadda yadda yadda.....but then my sister told me on the phone that i was her best friend.....it melted my heart and made my day...

Yes, I live in western Montana and we are surrounded by mountains. We are very fortunate to have a place by the Clark Fork river. I love listening to it rushing by and lately with it running high from the melting snow, it's even more beautiful. The sunsets here are breathtaking, especially in the summer. I have had a good day by the way. Compared to the last few days of deep depression and endless crying. A bit of a headache, but doing OK.

Gooood....SOOOOO much better! On my end...? My husband is not dead....yet...funny I haven't seen him all afternoon...since he dented my new car on a dumpster. He seems to feel I am livid but it's a small scratch and can be fixed. Nice to have the peace and quiet though!!! LOL

I hang birdfeeders 365 days a year and the birds that come and go throughout that time bring me many smiles as well as the other wildlife I see. My garden is doing well and I like working there and seeing the fruit of my labor. Sitting in the sun for a little while everyday is great.

Thank you for starting this thread, it made me feel some better.

I went on a 40 minute walk in a nature park over fairly rugged terrain, and I DID IT!!! That made me happy today. I gave both the dogs haircuts today, and now they smell pretty, that made me happy. My DD is helping me stick to my diet, and that makes me happy. It was a glorious warm day today, and that makes me happy.

I am not even going to mention or think about the negatives!!!

I drove almost an hour, by myself (YEAH!) to see my parents and niece this morning. When I got their my dad complimented me on my weight loss. I started back walking on my treadmill 3-4 days a week and I'm so glad that someone can tell .

I also played, hugged and kissed my sweet 3 year old great niece!

I have to say I have perked up a lot since the dreary blah's on Monday......maybe its that 'forcing a smile all day' yesterday that helped!

I will continue with the smile....even if people think I'm nuts....in fact I'm going to smile at everyone and wish them a good day!!!

Remember Caz...smiles ARE contagious! So keep at it!

Really glad to see this post. I've actually been doing fairly well the last few weeks. Increased my vitamin D3 and estradiol. Went on a super fab vacation. Did have to adjust my typical crazy vaca schedule for the new altered perri me. But, did rather well. (see, I'm not even commenting on the negatives!) Home again and still feeling pretty good. Kind of scared to say that and maybe "jinx" my struggling ovaries! Also, hard to admit feeling good while so many continue to struggle.

Praise God, I went to the doctor and my bp was 140/82!!! For me this is GREAT for me in the dr. office! Over the last 10 years as soon as I even think about going to the dr. office my bp shoots up. I've seen like 160/100+... I was so happy with my reading that I went shopping, lol , after leaving the doctor's office.
