hi, I am 48, healthy and run 25kms a week, however I have not slept an entire night now for 4 weeks and already I am exhausted ! I can handle the hot flashes during the day but I really need 8 hours sleep and with night sweats waking me every 2 to 3 hours I am not feeling or looking too great !! I'm taking Evening Primrose Oil but read this won't help stop the night sweats for a few months.
Anyone got advice on Black Cohosh and how much I need to take, daily? I've read on this site that acupuncture could help too but I hate needles....where are the needles placed? I guess I could shut my eyes, anything to stop the sweats and give me a good nights sleep.
I have a 6 year son who keeps me busy so I absolutely need to get back to my 8 hours sleep !! Thanks in advance for any advice you have.
