Yesterday, out of the blue while toweling off after my bath, both of my breasts simultaneously began burning, then the sensation was concentrated on both nipples and areolas and lingered there until the discomfort totally disappeared - lasted about 30 seconds to 1 minute.

It was the weirdest thing! My nipples felt as if they were going to burst and I couldn't touch them because the discomfort was so intense.

Other than that, the only change I've seen in my breasts since this journey began is that occasionally my nipples will become totally erect for no apparent reason - no change in temp, etc.

I think the toughest part of this whole stage of life is the unknown - we do know that these things may happen, we just never know WHEN and we have entirely no control over any of it ... so it seems.

Just wanted to share in the event that anyone else experiences anything similar!

I've had similar feelings in my breasts at certain times of the month. There was one time last year when mine were so sensitive and painful to the touch, I couldn't wear a bra for two days. I'm sure it's hormone-related. Just another wonderful symptom of Peri.....

I had discomfort on my nipple/areola area recently. Started with my left and later to the right. Mine was more of a pulling discomfort on the areola and nipple was pretty sore upon touch. I am pretty convinced it is part of peri havoc. God bless. blessy
