I forced myself to take my first Prometruim 100mg and took it vaginally. I slept well but had horrible dreams. I woke up this morning in a black cloud I cannot shake. I feel foggy and depressed and had no energy to work out. My muscle twitching in my legs in drving me crazy and worse then ever. What the heck!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot get my period to stop, and been bleeding for 22 days now. I am still on .25 mg Estrogel which was ok until the P What should I do!!!! I need some sort of cycle.

Jeez, I feel for you j.
I'm not sure and I wouldn't want to tell you what to do when there's bleeding involved, but if I was in the situation I'd probably stop the E and go from there. The estrogen may be contributing to the constant bleeding. As far as the Prometrium goes, all I can say is that I know first hand that it can do some crazy stuff to you but I felt fine when I took it in the beginning. It was only after a number of weeks (maybe a couple of months) that I began to feel crappy on it.
It should help with the bleeding so I guess you should decide whether you want to stick it out for a few more nights and see if your body becomes accustomed to it.
The other options would be to stop both and speak to your doctor about trying another form of P.

Dear'jhawley'
I really feel that your Estrogel may need upping to counteract the high amount of Prometrium.

I would strongly advise you to get an appointment with your Gyno. That bleeding has been going on for too long and will make you very tired and anaemic. After all Tests are done and depending on the outcome it may well be that your Hormone Meds.need twitching

I had quite sever breakout bleeding after being given a new HRT to use so the Gyno.-again after doing all relevant test upped my dosage of Estriol. The bleeding finally stopped

Please look after yourself
Let us know how things go.

All the Best
