The week or so before my period I tend to organize and clean. I forget what hormones change makes this happen. Is it the dropping of estrogen and progesterone together?? Can someone explain??

Boy, I wish I could find a supplement that would make me organise! laugh.gif

When I gave up HRT and was low in estrogen but before I'd acclimatized fully to the natural progesterone I then started using, I did have days where I felt very cut and dried - much as I imagine a man feels. In that state I did find I could organise and get through work very rapidly. It was a very unaccustomed feeling to me - I wasn't encumbered by emotion in that state. I'd never experienced feeling like that when I had a menstrual cycle and since I've stabilised on the natural progesterone, don't get those states any more.

Sorry, I should have added that yes, I was low in both estrogen and progesterone when I experienced those states.

Not fair! I've never had that hormone. huh.gif Right before my period I would always get clumsy.. drop things, run into things, etc.. that was always my first clue that my menses were coming. Now, had I have become organized I might not have grumbled so much.

I know what you are talking about. Right around my period the dust and the clutter would just drive me crazy and the rest of the month I just wouldn't care. I sure don't know what hormone it is...but I know I use to have that feeling alot..My husband hated it because there was a lot of honey-doos about that time.

I guess it would be similar to the feeling you get before you deliver a baby. I also get clumsy and drop things but, organize at the same time.
