This may sound strange, but it's worth a try. I get this surge, adrenalin type from my mid stomach up the sides and down my butt and top of my legs. It amy last an hour or so, then my pelvis area seems more sensitive, not pins and needles, but sort of buzzy, sort of just more aware that I have a pelvis and stomach and legs. There is no pain at all, just sort of weird. Then I feel a little shaky all over, nervous too, of course. Is is a form of internal shaking, buzzing, creepy skin crawling, ( yes, that's more like what it is now that I think of it). I am on bcp;s but my gyn says I am heading toward the end of peri and into meno soon judging by my hormone test. Of course I think I have a dreadful disease, what I dont' know, but something to cause this. I just had a bunch of bloodwork done and all came back clear.

Any thoughts without making me too nervous about it would be appreciated. Thanks

I get the same thing quit often. I think it's a form of anxiety attack. From what I've read on other posts is that it's hormones going nuts. Thanks to this site and that others are going throught the same thing I know I'm dying or have some disease. Try to keep that in mind when you have these attacks.

I've been having the same thing for weeks now in fact it's so bad last night and this morning that is why I am up early and on here cos I can't sleep. I'm so stressed, worried sick, frightened, fearful, angry and any other emotion I just can't think of right now cos my brain is mush from lack of sleep these past few days. I've almost got the courage up to ring my doctors office for an appointment this morning if they can get me in but I know what he's gonna say, it's just anxiety blah blah blah..... sad.gif

But I need peace of mind.....

Thanks for your answers. You know when I dont; get answers right away I think I am so strange, noone can even respond. How the mind works. You would think after my last doctors visit a week and a half ago, I would have peace of mind, but noooo, I still dont'. Even two years ago I had a brain mri and still dont't believe I am fin. I don't know why I can't shut off that nervous part of my brain. I feel like I could jump out of my skin right now. I worked out this morning, then went to work for 4 hours and then this hit. I could just cry, I feel like I just may. I am thinking of a xanax soon just to ease my stupid brain and body. OOOOHHHH I hate this.

Roxyoursox, I hope you get in for a visit, it may help you.

surrealife, thanks for answering, i am sorry you feel this too, but glad we are not alone.

I hope it subsides soon all of us.

I have been having this also and about a week or so ago I read somewhere that flax seed would help and I tried it with a cup of keifer and it seems to at least calm them down. It is not gone but it has made them more bearable.

My father who is a health fanatic and takes only natural supplements believes the seeds crushed up are better as they bond better and are absorbed better in the body.

Right now I am using the oil with the keifer because I also read that it needs something to bond with instead of taking it stragiht. You can also use yoguart or a smoothie shake if that works better for you.

It may be worth a try it certainly is not going to hurt as it is good for you either way you look at it.

Doesn't it always feell like the doctors missed something? I got everything checked out too and I'm fine. But I can't stand the constant mind racing the minute I wake up in the wee hours. Whenever I leave the drs office they say " Oh just relax" I think not! Some people just don't get it. I was taking xanax for a while then doc switch me to Klonopin. It does the trick somrtimes but who wants to live on that. I love all you PS sisters..... ( as u can tell I'm having a monment)

I haven't been taking my flaxseed oil for the last few weeks since I have had a resurgance of GERD as it can sometimes make it worse so I cut out all supplements except magnesium. I really want to start the flaxseed again cos it helps with the spacy foggy head thing and the achy body also but I'm scared to make the GERD even worse than it already is sad.gif .

Well, my afternoon of worry sent me into a doosy of a panic attack. the worst one in a very long time. I was so worked up over these feelings that my 5:30 I was tingly all over, my arms were burning, jaw felt weird, left leg, so tight and the muscles in the thigh. I knew I had an event for my daughter tonight I had to go to, so I took a xanax at 5:45. Left the house at 6:45, and felt like I could run a marathon. I stayed outside before the event and walked around, took another xanax and finally calmed down to a reasonable level. Enough to stay put for the whole hour and a half and even sit still. Funny, no tingling, no buzzing, no pain no aches then. So, the moral of the story, I guess I dont' have a disease, just hormones and panic related "feelings". I was ready to run the to er, really, truly. Just get through what I went to and run to the er. I even wrote down the vitamins I take, etc. so they would have record of them. Now, I feel like me. Just like I should. Maybe a few days of the twice a day xanax, like my doctors have said, but I never do, it truly in order for now, just to settle everything down.

Thanks so much for listening to me ramble on and on, I just needed to "talk". Really, thanks' for being there as always.
