Oh I've had this on and off for 3 1/2 years now. My last one was this past week in the middle of the night and a week before that I had a bout that lasted over an hour in the middle of the night. They are accompanied by night sweats a lot of the time too. I had it checked out thoroughly, again, last November. It scares the heck out of me as well. You're not alone.

Well this just started for me about a month ago and now it is almost every night along with a sweaty chest. Could it be something else or is this peri?

I t is very scary, I sleep with a fan and light clothes but as soon as I lay down I can feel the change coming on but only at night not during the day...this is driving me nuts.

I had a sweaty chest and a sweaty back and a sweaty head! Mostly at night, but also during the day! It has gradually decreased over the years ( won't tell you how long ! ). It will get better I promise, I know it's tough. Hugs Antique X
