I just like I was going to cry out of the blue and then got really warm from the face up. Is this a typical hot flash? I never felt like I would cry at the smae time before. Weird, huh?

No not weird at all. Your hormones are all imbalanced and cause you to feel and do all sorts of things.I don't know if this is a "typical" hot flash or not but it does sound like a hot flash.

hi im new here and just posted as it a hot flush? but just seen this topic and want to say that i felt like crying so bad when it happened and couldnt cos i was in a classroom full of children....I think its the adrenaline but not sure.....or maybe its because the docotr wont tell me its peri and so im imaginaining im going nuts.

Yes tearfulness is sadly also very common.
