Hi Ladies,
Just wondering if any of you have had issues with gas. For the last couple weeks I have had terrible gas after dinner. I know I have raised my fiber intake, and that may be part of the culprit. I also got my period after 114 days, so I'm thinking my whacky hormones are playing their part in my digestive woes. I had a colonoscopy (clear) about 4 months ago, so I know all is well within my colon. If anyone else suffers from this, do you have any tips to keep gas to a minimum? Thanks!

Yes, but for me it's dairy. We are only born with a certain amount of lactase that is used to break down the proteins in milk so it's not uncommon to become lactose intolerant.

Give up dairy for today and tomorrow and see if your problems abate.

I also have this problem with SF gums that use xyletol and/or sorbitol.

When I upped my fiber intake I had gas something fierce! After a couple of weeks my system got used to it and settled down. BUT.....in the beginning NOBODY would want to be within 5 feet of me! WHEW!!!!

oh my word!!!! So, I'm having the same issue the past few days and my diet has stayed about the same and I don't drink that much milk but I have eaten cheese, lol.
My poor little cats-haha-they just look at me in disgust. I say better out than in, because I hate being bloated!

You aren't eating the fiber one bars by any chance are you? As my DGD says.. they will make you toot. tongue.gif I don't think it's the fiber but the sweetener they use. Just a thought..
