Full Version: Internal Vibration/Other Symptoms
Power Surge Forums > Board Discussions > Am I Starting Perimenopause?
timeless
I have been sick for over a year now and was diagnosed with MAV last year. That is a whole different story but as of late I have started having internal vibration going on inside, especially at night when I lay down to go to sleep. I have lost a lot of weight over 50 pounds in the last 9 months and I do not know why. I have some anxiety with all that has been going on and take a small Valium at night .25mg.

Is the vibration or shaking my hormones , when checked last at the doctor they were not out of line.

It is like I notice every little change in my body now and it is elevated 10 times, I am also have chest sweating at night, only on the chest now where else.

I am at a loss to know what all this is or where to turn. I have been to so many doctors over the last year ...any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

hi
I know lots of women here get the vibration thing, & I get it too, its very strange. I dont know
what causes it tho, but Im sure someone here will def know!
If I can ask you what is MAV?
All I can say is that it may be perimenopause you are entering, as I am very sick at the minute
with all these various symptoms, so please dont worry & it might be worth getting your hormone,
thyroid levels checked again,
take care

I went back to the doctor yesterday and she is rechecking my levels to see if they are out of line.

MAV is short for Migraine Associated Vertigo. I started having vertigo attacks over a year ago and they said it was due to my migraines which had elevated themselves into more than just a headache. I have not yet been able to find anything medication wise that I can take as I am very med sensitive.

I lost my job earlier this year due to this condition and I just want to be back to "normal" if there is any such thing out there.

This has been a very difficult year for me and now I am having these new symptoms which do not seem to fit with the MAV so I am wondering if I am now on top of everything else going into perimenopause. I am 48 years old and had a partial hysterectomy over 20 years ago.
