Hello ladies

I've been taking magnesium supplementation for quite a while and I really think it helps, especially since I haven't been taking it as much as I used to. I was taking magnesium malate. Someone told me malate is apple-related (does that make sense?) and now I may have an allergy to apples. I have had ALOT of trouble with pain in my lower abdomen, and no one can figure out what it is. Anyway, I'd like a magnesium that's easily tolerated and doesn't have a whole bunch of other stuff in it I don't need. I can't tolerate calcium supplementation (too constipating!). But I will listen to ALL of your suggestions ! Lord knows I can always learn something new.

Thanks

'moon,

I just posted a new topic about epsom salts. Check it out: it's another way to get magnesium. I took an epsom salt bath last night and it really helped.

Good luck!

Natural Calm has been a God send for me. I've taken it for about 3 years. It's powder form and fizzes in hot water. I get the raspberry/lemon flavor. I have TMJ and it has helped keep my jaw muscles relaxed. If I dont take it I notice a difference. Also has helped with my heart palps. I take one teaspoon per day. Just google Natural Calm. I tried many forms of magnesium and this is the most tolerated one for me. Hope this helps.

I like epsom salts baths too. Really eases aching muscles.

I've now read about Natural Calm, and will check it out! I'm hoping the "citrate" part won't be a problem (citric acid, which is in OJ, and I've also had to stop that too.)

I also have taken detox baths w/ epsom salts and baking soda. They are great! But I am looking for a daily magnesium regime. I am a firm believer in it. I read a very interesting book a while back, The Miracle of Magnesium.

Cheers!

I would like to try the Natural Calm. Can you tell me if I need to order it online or if it is available at discount or health stores?
How soon will I see results? And is diarrhea a side-effect?
Although I'm 62 and 6 years post, I still often experience what many of you are describing.

Thank you so much for your help!
