I've tried all the OTC stuff plus priobiotics, charcoal, ginger aloe, warm Coke...

I think it may be anxiety related but maybe not. Doesn't seem to be food related or at least it doesn't matter what I eat, and eating actrually makes it go away for a couple of hours. Drinking anything - - even water -- sets it off.

It comes and goes but when I have it (like now) I can't think of anything else.

Any ideas?

Lydia, I so feel for you. I had nausea everyday for a year. No it comes and goes and rarely lasts long. Just yesterday it started and it's back again today - ick! What helps me is to keep sometime in my mouth - mints, ice, gum - anything. I think that helps keep the saliva more prevalent which helps.

I am just like you - it doesn't keep me from eating and in fact, eating often makes it a bit better.

Sometimes it helps me to have a cold cloth on my head too - not always practical but when I can do it, it's helpful.

Hang in there - I'm so sorry you've having this! Kathleent

Lydia, I think that nausea is the worst feeling--even worse than pain. It can be a symptom, so I would urge you to see your doctor. Chances are great that it is caused by hormones doing loopty-loops, but I would get it checked out. Please keep us posted. I wish you speedy relief.

Very best,

Lydia, I also have nausea. I believe mine is anxiety related. I take anti-anxiety medicine and the nausea goes away in about an hour??

I really feel for you, I have been dealing with the all of a sudden nauseous stomach since the end of December. It really puts a damper in my every day life.

I hope you get something figured out soon!!
Hugs,
Amber
