I had my semi annual full body skin exam today by my dermatolgist. She is a woman about my age and going through perimenopause. She was looking over my chart and saw that I had just had a workup on my palpitations and an echo heart test.

She told me as a peer, not as a doctor that she has the same thing and what works for her is taking Co q10. She thinks that we are surrounded by so many electrical devices always and the heart is electrical that it interfers with it's normal process. When you think about it there isn't a spot in my world where something electrical isn't going on. Cell phones, wifi, you name it and it's flying around space all the time.

I'm willing to try adding Co q1o to my routine.

tela - what sort of palps were you talking about here? skipped beats or racing?
tela
skipped beats/thuds not a racing heart. (palpitations not tachycardia)

That's great - my ectopics have been back the last few days - Co Q10 is something I haven't tried yet - thanks tela smile.gif

(People on PS seem to refer to all sorts of heart fluctuations as palpitations, so was just clarifying smile.gif )

How much CoQ10 should one take? I take 75 mg now but wonder if I should take more?

Regarding the use of Co q10 Is that for PVC and PAC?
That is What I took it as......
You may have a good thought there, as the reason for theses PVC and PAC.
With so many electrical devices in our world today, it just might be interfering
with our hearts. It is something to really research!
I have been having PVC and PAC on and off for the last few years, thinking that
it might have something to do with Menopause. Had the test done to find out where
I was at with my menopause, and I am at 92. My Doc. has given me C.E.S. 0.625mg
of conjugated estrogens. I have had many other test only to rule out what it is not.
Including wearing the king of hearts (the Loop) twice. Will get the results on the
second one the 1st of April. When I see my heart specailist, I will be asking him about
the possiblities of our electrical devices that surround us.
Thank you
Penny
moozie
