Hey girls,
Just started bio-identicals. Have been on .625 mg. per day of bi-est for one week. I also was taking 50 mg. of progesterone-but after two days on the progesterone I developed a bad yeast infection. I am really prone to fungal/candida issues and was wondering if the progesterone pills are the culprit. Does anyone else have problems with the progesterone causing yeast infections. OR could it be the bi-est. I hope it is not the bi-est. Good grief..............this is so mind boggling and frustrating........grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Avalina

It's the progesterone, it's known to trigger yeast infections. I remember seeing a couple other posts in the past couple months here with women complaining of the same thing after starting the P.

thanks............now I'm just taking the Bi-est and no progesterone. Scares me to death since I have my uterus. Oh well........now I am dealing with trying to get rid of this yeast (vaginitis) infection and it is miserable. Egads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
