One symptom goes away and guess what? Another symptom just waits in the wings until it gets its cue....

Now I have ringing in my ears. I've had ear noises in my life from time to time--like the sound of rushing water. It went away after several adjustments at the chiropractor.

Now I have ringing. This is a new one. Since I've been having sinus issues too, I'm wondering if the ringing isn't part of that. Lord, it is annoying though!!! ARGH! rolleyes.gif

If you look up tinnitius and menopause on the internet, you will be surprised about the info you will recieve. I was having ringing in my ears last week and of course.......just one more symptom.

I have terrible tinnitus...woke up with it and this tension headache almost 3 years ago along with numerous other things. Lately it is so loud and high pitched it drives me crazy at times. Good point....if your on meds, check to see if that is a side effect of any med you're on. I hope you get relief soon.

Hugs,

I had ear ringing quite often when I was in peri, and now that I am 13 months post, I still have it. Actually now, I have it worse than ever. My doc said that it's very common and nothing to worry about. She said it's actually a common complaint among women in their 40's & 50's. That tells me it must be hormone related. My sinus's have also been horrible this winter; so that might play a part in it as well.

I slept with earphones on last night and soft music playing...for that time at least I had some peace.

I take Advil from time to time, but not daily so I don't think that's it.

It's probably hormone and stress related.

And, as if I didn't have enough stress already with family/money issues I got my tax bill yesterday and now have a lien on my house for back taxes I can't afford to pay. I'm supposed to laugh at all this? How? sheesh. I have a mortgage company that refuses to work with us and all my creditors are breathing down my neck. I can't see how things are ever going to get better. No wonder my ears are ringing and my shoulders and back are all in spasm.

Prayers will help very much. Thanks!
