The biopsy came back cancer. I then was thrown into a hectic time because surgery was scheduled for Jan 30 and I had to test to find anethesia I was not allergic to etc. Finally 2 days before the scheduled surgery, the doctor found an anethesia I was not allergic too. They let me have hubby and niece bring all my organic food to the hospital and my air filter so I could survive 3 days in the hospital.
They never did find a pain killer I wasn't allergic to besides tylenol so I only had tylenol after surgery for pain. It worked...kinda lol. Everyone was so horrified I was going through this with only tylenol and they kept telling me tylenol didn't work....till I was ready to toss something at them lol.
Surgery went well. They kept saying they caught it early, but I didn't believe it until I got the final results......Grade 1, Stage 1A, no further treatment needed. Thank you Lord.

Amethyst,
I just saw your post and want to send my good wishes and reassurance to you.
I joined this site over three years ago because I was worried I had cancer.
No-one thought I did because my symptoms were not the usual ones but I went through an endometrial biopsy and sonogram and was then told I did indeed have endometrial cancer.
I had a TAH/BSO on 7th March 2006 and my cancer too was early- stage 1 and grade 1. No further treatment was required.
I have had regular checks since then and am fine.
I see that you are post menopausal so hopefully you will not go through all the symptoms of a surgical menopause which I have done-not very pleasant!
Anyway-just wanted to let you know I am here so if you want to message me about anything please feel free.
I hope you will soon be feeling well!
Best wishes

Oh Praise God, that is so wonderful! I'm so happy for you! Add me to the list of those who are amazed at your tolerance for pain. I can't imagine only having tylenol after surgery... but I also get sick on Loritab and those so maybe tylenol would be better.
So glad you won't need any more treatments,

I am happy to hear about your good outcome, and that you can go back to enjoying your life. I know the cycle of worrying about symptoms, doctor appointment and test results, so I am sure it feels great that it is all behind you now ... Your story is a lesson for all us to check out post menopausal bleeding, so I appreciate you sharing, and I am really glad you are okay. (((HUGS)))

Dear'AmethystCrystal'
Yes Praise the Lord that your cancer was caught so early and that you are doing well.It must have been a very anxious time for you and your family.
Now go out and celebrate your good health!
Warm Wishes
