I'm trying to figure out if anything I eat or drink contributes to my palpitations and I think they started about the time I added drinking green tea each morning. I have switched to a decaf tea but I still drink a cup or 2 each day. I drink it because it's supposed to be healthy for the rest of the body.
I googled it and found a few cases where people have said it gives them palpitations.
Anyone else find that certain food or drinks adds to their palps?

Anything with caffeine does it for me, as does alcohol and too much sugar. I have cut out the caffeine and the alcohol, but I can't give up sugar and expect to be human

I have no problems with drinking Green Tea and have drunk it for a very long time now but I drink a
'CAFFEINE FREE' Green tea as caffeine is a big
NO NO for me.....
Maybe it's the caffeine in the Green tea causing the problems as it needs to clearly state that it is
'caffeine free' as even Green tea contains caffeine like regular tea.
But then everyone is so different so who knows what effects one person and not another

Dear Ladies
I too have had no problem with green tea, just like 'roxsursoxs' but mine is without caffeine.I also stay away from coffee, except for the occassional cup as I will come over all jittery
I think green tea is pretty delicious but it is possible that the caffeine is causing the trouble

My daughter and I both recently began drinking green tea because of its many benefits. After about two days we both were dealing with anxiety, jitters, and panic feeling. Needless to say we both stopped drinking the tea. Now what to do with all the green tea I have!?
