Okay, it seems like my whole life revolves around skincare. I'm almost two years post and I'm definitely seeing skin changes for the worst. No more "young, soft" skin for me!

Here's my skincare du jour (i switch products alot) -

Morning -

Keihls gentle cleanser in the shower or Olay gentle scrub for the face
Loofa with Olay body wash
Avalon vitamin C serum - let dry
Olay regenerist firming
Isomers neck and chin firming lotion
Jergens extra dry lotion entire bidy

Night -

Wash face with buff puff with (or without) Cetaphil
Avalon vitamin C serum
Sothyses Secret face creme
Isomers neck and chin firming lotion
ROC deep wrinkle retinol under the eyes and forehead - Im slowly graduating to Retin A
Jason Cocoa Butter for the hands
Crisco as a sealant for face, hands and neck- I KID YOU NOT!!!! laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

Is anyone else as neurotic as me? Please assure me I'm not the only one. Come on!

Morning:

Wash face with warm water
homemade Vit C serum
Cellular Skin Rx Relax Plus with Vialox (on my frown lines between the eyebrows)
Paula's Choice Hydrating Moisturizer (currently)

Night:

Cleanse with BWC Extra Gentle Facial Cleanser
Alternate nights with estriol cream, then Retrinal 1%
PC Hydrating Moisturizer (only with estriol cream since Retrinal is moisturizing)

Couple of times a week instead of the C serum will use Alpha Hydrox 12% glycolic acid souffle for exfoliating

For the last 6 months, it's been very simple, as last summer I had a chemical burn disaster resulting from using an aggressive AHA serum(my skin doesn't like leave-on AHA products) so here's my current routine, that even had to exclude sunblock:

AM:
Neutrogena Pore Refining Cleanser(I just added this 3 weeks ago, after several months of no exfoliation whatsoever, that's how bad my skin was)
Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream
L'Oreal Revitalift Eye Cream

PM:
Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser
Cellbone's AcroWhite(natural skin lightening serum, that I just added in about a month ago)
my own shea butter-coconut oil barrier cream

I'm currently looking at the Neutrogena Healthy Defense SPF 45 Sunblock for day, as I'd like to be able to add this back in, if it won't trash my skin. I've seen good reviews of this and supposedly it is photostable too, which is important so sunspots don't darken.

Gia....I'm not post yet, but have always taken good care of my skin. I have used Mary Kay product for YEARS! My mom is 85 and looks fabulous, and has always used Mary Kay (and stayed out of the sun, which is probably 90% of it!) I think I am as neurotic as you, if not worse! laugh.gif

For me, mornings: face:
Mary Kay timewise cleanser with buf puf
M.K. hydrating freshener
M.K. timewise day solution with SPF 25
M.K. age fighting moisturizer
M.K. timewise firming eye cream, upper eyelids and below eyes
mornings, body:
Bath and body works shower gel
curel lotion

Nighttime, face:
M.K. timewise cleanser, with buf puf
M.K. hydrating freshener
M.K. timewise night solution
M.K. timewise age fighting moisturizer
M.K. timewise firming eye cream, upper eyelids and below eyes
and, if my skin is really dry, M.K. moisture renewal cream

Night, body:
more curel lotion
bath and body works body butter for my feet!
And Neutrogena hand cream as needed all day long.

I've tried other stuff for my face, but nothing makes it look and feel as good as the M.K. and I always ended up going back to it.

Do I win, or is it a tie? biggrin.gif

"GB,wow, that's a lot of stuff to do everyday!!"

It sounds like a lot, but it really doesn't take that much time!
Forgot to add......once a week, I use M.K. Microdermabrasion! rolleyes.gif Really makes my skin smooth!

I confess... I seldom wash my face at night.. It's such a bad habit and I'm hoping that thinking of you gals will make me feel guilty enough to start a new habit.

My morning routine is.. Neutrogina's pore cleanser sometimes followed with Arbonne's facial cleanser then crisco :-) or Clinique moisturizer... If I'm not wearing makeup for the day I'll use crisco and have to say that it has really made a difference. I just started this after hearing about it on this board.

Sometimes but not very often I may use Arbonne's serum and day & night cream.

No soap for me. Morning is just a warm washcloth followed by a drop of grapeseed/vitamin E oil while my face is still wet. Evening is a layer of Egyptian Magic cream (lots of good natural oils), washed off with a warm washcloth followed by the grapeseed/vitamin E oil.

I use AlphaHydrox face cleanser and their Souffle face cream. The stuff is great! Makes your skin so soft and even. Not too pricey either.
