Does anyone get watery, slightly itchy eyes. I have been doing this for about a week now. I rather think it is sinus or allergy related as I feel congested. The left eye seems to be worse than the right, but that is where I feel most congested. Anyone have any tips to help or have had a similar experience?

Dor, We have pine pollen everywhere and yes, it affects me the same way. I usually keep an antihistamine on hand and start it BEFORE the allergy season hits, that way it goes right on past me, but I'm all out of it this time. I have a hard time breathing and some days my eyes pour water. It's not fun!

Thanks so much for your reply. Nice to know I am not alone. I bought some allergy eye drops today and am taking some Sudafed, so I will see if that helps. It is very uncomfortable although not painful. Just feels gritty and watery. Thanks again.

If the allergy meds do not work, see your eye doctor. You could have dry eyes. The watering could be due to reflex tearing, trying to compensate for the dryness. The gritty, itchy sensation is common with people who suffer from dry eye. Dry eye is common in women going through peri.

Apprently I got something in my eye which irritated it. The doctor gave me antibiotic drops and told me to get over the counter dry eyes drops to help it feel better. I remember doing it too - dusting a ceiling fan with dust falling into my eyes. Thanks ladies for all your kind and good advice.
