When I am old I will sit and play with my grandchildren!

I will cuddle with them more!

I will eat more cake and icecream and not worry that I'm getting fat!

I will look out over my garden, look at the horizon, and contemplate.

I will notice how the birds are flying in a sort of
formation and watch the bees buzzing.

I will remember the loves I have had and how sweet it was.

I love to do that now, but I don't get to do it much.

I'm going to let my hair go gray and wear it in a braid down my back. I'm going to have a wonderful garden and read stories to my grandchildren - if I have any. I want to renovate a Victorian cottage and write a great novel.

When I am old I shall...

Open a produce stand. I've pictured myself like this for years. Me in my 60's, wearing a muumuu, big hoop earrings and lots of bangly bracelets, my hair in a long gray braid down my back, selling produce on the side of the road. And maybe telling fortunes on the side, if I can ever force myself to learn to read my tarot cards. Oh, and voicing my philosophy about the world to anyone who will listen (been practicing this for a long time). Only when I get old, people will tolerate my opinions because I'm "just a crazy old woman".

I don't have the time right now. I'll have to wait until I retire, but I think I'll go to a belly dancing class right after the ballroom dancing class I think I'll take a class and learn how to make my own sushi also!!

My husband is 13 years older than I am. I always tease him that if he passes first I'll take a senior singles cruise! LOL

My husband turns 50 next month and is feeling old. I find that funny since he still has the EXACT same body as he did at 28!!!! The ONLY thing that has changed is a couple gray hairs and a few more wrinkles on his face. He's got it made!!! Wish I could say the same about myself! LOL!!!

When i am old i will realize that i should have enjoyed and cherished my 40's instead of feeling like i was old...

Everyday I will:

Laugh

Dance

Smile at a stranger

Cuddle a baby

Say "I love you"

Thank God I reached "old"

Way to go Texas girl I second that one. I am telling my DD and will shout it from the roof tops if need be. I also if they want to listen will tell Daughters in laws when they come into our lives. In fact Daughter and I are going to start jotting things down recipes, herbal supplements, things that worked things that didnt so it comes from the heart, from the gut where I have been they might go, that it might be better for them all.
