chrissyriss
the past month has been the worst of my life. before christmas my period started, after nothing for 47 days. I just kept bleeding, heavier than normal. then after the stress of christmas, my best dog died suddenly, it has been 3 weeks and I am still crying. then after a 10 day period, I start again. ugh, now, if i count from the first day of the last one till now, it is on time, but the last one was 10 days, and now here iam again, this one is very crampy, very heavy with some clots. I know the dog passing did not help my feeelings, I am so tired, and now i am feeling like i am just losing it. I am 46 1/2. 47 in July. the dr took some tests. while i was bleeding last time. estradiol 212. fsh 4.8,,,, he did not do progesterone,he compared them to tests i had about 2 years ago and said they are differnet and explained that peri tests are never the same. i am scheduled for a pap test in february, and I plan to ask for a ultrasound. last year my periods have been all out of whack, but nothing like this. the bleeding is starting to get on my nerves, and is scary sometimes. I woke up this morning drenched in sweat. i cannot say much about the rest of how I feel because I am still grieving my loss. I am not looking for answers here just support, am I ok? sad.gif

(((((HUGS))))) to you. Losing a loved one (person or pet) is never easy. Praying the pain in your heart turns to fond memories of all the love your little one gave you in life very soon.

I think losing a beloved pet is a very stressful event and would definitely have an effect on your periods.
