Hi I'm only 34 years old and I just started having panic attacks and they have been one after another in the past two weeks I feel like I'm going crazy I've been in the pshyciatric hospital twice already but I get sent home with medication but it's not getting better I also get hot flashes and sweaty hands can somebody tell me if I'm going through perimenopause oh and this all started right before my period please help me I think I'm going crazy

Your not going crazy, you are showing symptoms of peri menopause even though you are 34 anything is possible, also remember panic attacks you get hotflashes and sweaty too and clammy hands. Do you have any idea what age your mom or relatives went into peri?Anything upset you or stress you recently? Are your periods still regular? i am no expert but i have to say its either panic attacks or peri causing your symptoms. I would talk to gyno about this before you assume thats what it is. I would suggest going to get your fsh level and estridiol levels checked. The best time to go is day 3 of your menstrual cycle. (my doctor said from day 3 to day 7). It will give you a clearer picture of where you are on this crazy ride we call peri menopause.
