My period started on Wednesday and then stopped after a few hours. For a few days before and since then I have had migraine headache with vision symptoms, carsick feeling, stomach burning, shaky feeling, weak, dizzy, anxiety and tension all over my body and feeling just horrible in general. I have felt like this before when I started my period, but now its like it wont really start and my symptoms won't go away!! I am going to the GYN on Wedneday. I am generally a positive person, but I feel sometimes like this situation is hopeless!!! Does anyone else have anything similar to this. Also, has hysterectomy helped anyone with their peri symptoms.? I have such a terrible time at ovulation and my period. I'm done having babies and if would stop this craziness, I would gladly have all of it removed!!!!!!! This stuff is seriously affecting my quality of life at this point.

Yes I have had all of the above. You are younger aren't you? If so you might talk about a low dose bcp to help ease they symptoms.

I do NOT recommend a hysterectomy. You can come out on the worst side of meno with worse symptoms. I had a partial hyster with ovaries in tact and trust me I still have the same old same symptoms! With the hyster you risk many things at a younger age, most of all bone density issues. It really isn't worth it if you can get on some replacement therapy and feel better.
