Well Ladies My Mother In Law's Stroke effected her left side.... Her speech is very slurred, however you can understand some things she says, which is good. She knows all of her family by name which is very encouraging....
The Doctors said they would know more in a few days about her progress and treatment plan once some of the swelling has went down on her brain.
My MIL has dealt with alot in her life she lost her son, when he was 27 and had to raise my husband at the time he was only 7 years old.... Now she has a daughter that has terminal cancer and she has been trying to care for her, So that's no easy task for anyone especially a 81 yr old woman..
I want you all to keep her and her daughter in your prayers, I also want to Thank You All It means so much to me that you all are praying for us, I so appreciate all the support you all have given me, I know I have met the most loving, caring and understanding & supportive women here on this board and I'm so thankful that I found you all...
Much love To You All & Many Many Thanks

Blue, that is an encouraging prognosis, I am so glad! The poor woman has had too much stress. Someone should be looking after her at 81! But what a wonderful person she must be to be caring for her daughter at her age......wow, I am awed. Make sure you take the time to look after yourself during this difficult time, Blue....this kind of stress is hard on you as well.

Take care!! Hugs

Thank you for the update. I will continue to keep you and your family in my prayers. Your MIL sounds like an awesome lady with a couragous spirit. I pray she recovers fully. As Floater said, take care of yourself during this time too.

Oh, blue!!! I am just now reading this post. I have been out of town for a few days. Had to drive my dad to MS for some tests.

I am so sorry that your MIL has had a stroke, but I'm very happy that she is still with you.

LIfe has a way of throwing things at us at the most inopportune times, doesn't it.

Just know that I'm thinking of you and your family and praying for you.

Much love,

Blue - I am so sorry for all that your MIL has been going through. She must be very stressed out. Can you give her something like valerian for her nerves. This may help her. Check with the doctor first of course. Please know that you are being thought of by many of us here. I shall continue to pray for your MIL. Sincerely, Suzanne
