Very cute! For Kotex pads you no longer need, you can make these comfy slippers.

Too funny! Both of these are hilarious. I'm still using my sanitaries at the moment, but hopefully soon I can take advantage of these nifty craft ideas...lol!

This is a cute thread. It reminds me of a story my husband told me years ago about he and his neighborhood friends playing in the srteets of detroit in the summer. They would sneak one of their mother's Kotex pads and tie it around their head for a sweatband!!! Until one of the mother's noticed and yelled at them from her front porch, bringing all the other mother's out in embarrassment. blink.gif rolleyes.gif blink.gif

This air-powered tampon gun turns your feminine hygiene products into high-flying projectiles.

OMG LMAO

LOL. Any of you use those Swiffer wet mops? I ran out of the pads and, while it doesn't work quite as well, a sanitary pad will do in a pinch! (Cheaper too!)

I keep picturing Maxine of the greeting cards wearing dangling tampon angel earrings in a big old bathrobe walking around in kotex slippers.

When I no longer need my napkins, I'm planning on buying a few packages and having a maxi bon fire. All are welcome to attend. S'mores will be served. biggrin.gif

This reminded me of a funny story.

When my youngest niece was little, we were visiting my Mom at the convalescent home where she was recuperating from a fall. We were in the community room talking and little Kim kept pestering her father for a quarter for the candy machine. He finally gave in and she disappeared for a few minutes. When she came back she was in tears--turns out it wasn't a candy machine at all and she was now the proud owner of an unused tampon! Needless to say, this story makes its way around the holiday table now--especially when the current beau is present! LOL

This thread reminded me of a time about 18yrs ago when we were visiting my MIL. She called me into her bedroom and said she had something for me. She pulls out from the back of a drawer one of those tampons with applicator. It had a tatty old cover, so I'm guessing it was about 20 yrs old. After her generous offering I ended up taking it home and stuffing it at the back of my drawer (yes I find it hard to dispose of 'gifts') where it sat for another 12 yrs until we moved house and it finally met it's demise.

I'm now wondering if I had in my possession one of the oldest living tampons in history? ohmy.gif
