thank you for your replys. so last week i posted the post about me just having red spotting for the 4 days. after a 46 day cycle. well it turned heavyier,(wouldn't ya know right before christmas.lol) so now it has been 5 days of a heavier "real" period. i have no cramps and just tired feeling. well it is the holidays. i am being treated for graves(thyroiid) for the past 5 yrears. and I have not ever had any trouble with periods the whole 5 years.,from the thyroid., I do get some lightheadedness, dry mouth, insomnia. but i am sure not from my thyroid, as i have been stable on meds for the past 5 years now. this is the first time I am having this messed up period. red, and really showing no signs of letting up yet. could i be nearing the end? or will this go on for a while? i know everyone is diferent, but it is nice to share and get feedback from others. i get my pap tests every year,(well, I think i might have missed this past year,) and they are always good. i get blood tests for my thyroid every 6-8 weeeks, to keep my levels stable. I see my reg dr, every 8 weeks to, just for follow ups and chat about me getting older. lol.I feel i keep up with myself pretty well, this is all new to me now, the messed up cycles have been going on for a year, but this is a first for the strange spotting and bleeding and the longest I have, and the furthest apart my periods have ever been, please reply to me. I feel very alone in this. thank you for being here.

Hi chrissy:
Glad that you are here! Hopefully, when you talk to doctor again, he/she will understand and check your hormones, just to be sure.
When peri/meno hits I dont think it matters what kind of care you take of yourself, it is still very disconcerting.
Happy New Year!
