Enough:

You have to kind of experiment to see what works best for you. I have used a wheat/rice bag that you heat in the microwave for a few minutes and placed it on the top of my head. Extra strength Tylenol helps me, sometimes.

I hope you feel better soon, dear.

Enough, I have had all sort of head pains which I was told stem from the tmj. When this first began my doctor touched various places on my face, head, and neck. Quite a few of those places were sore. I had checked out a book from the library that explained about tmj and how it affects even your shoulders and arms. I need to check the book out again because it did provide some self help techniques that were simple posture, stretching, and moderate exercise that could help.

I am so happy you said that. I was at a neurodentist last week for my tmj and yes, it was one of my top complaints. I have osteoarthritis of the jaw, so I guess the damp weather starting today was the beginning of the tmj flare. the pain on my head is still there, but it is now moving to the temples and back of my head. I am happy to be reminded of this, as I worry it's something worse.

i hopeyou all are well too. Thank you to both of you.

Dear'enough'
I have on several recent occasions suffered from excruitiating pains at the top of my head. The ENT put it down to my sinus infection and gave me a strong course of antibiotics.Eventually I got relief but still get pressure pains as am allergic to many household cleaners, also stress can do it too.

I find Panadol P.M. quite effective in relieving the pain but if I know it is related to stress will take a small dose of Xanax.

Feel Well Soon
All the best

I've had this before but it was side effects of antidepressants that I was on...
