Hi ladies:

I have not yet seen anyone mention this but would like to see if you all have experienced it before.

You know how it feels when you get a case of the chill pumps? That is how this is except it is only in one side of my head or the other. It is very disconcerting and I was wondering if it is a symptom of peri or an anxiety symptom.

Thanks ahead of time for any responses.

Hugs,
Jeaninne

If you are talking about goosebumps I get them also. And Yes, it sometimes happen on one side of the head or the other. It feels weird when it happens, like all the hair on either side is standing on ends, but yes I have that if that is what you mean. Have heard it mentioned on here before also. Not sure if it is peri or not.

Dear Jeaninne
Anything is possible at this time .I am Post menopausal and I still get the night sweats occassionally followed by the chills and goose bumps all over my legs.

Do hope you will feel better soon and try not to worry

I tend to get what feels like this...I am going along fine then BAM! it is like someone put a block of ice on one side of my head or the other...just under the skin and it feels like it is suddenly freezing! It feels like kind of a burn freeze at the same time. It is gone almost as fast as it starts. Scary but I think it is normal or homornal or such.

RR:

BCH, Bim, and Ladybugs all described it way better than I did and that is exactly what I am feeling.

Suzanne:

I know my screws are loose up there but wanted to know if anyone else's were loose too biggrin.gif

I sure appreciate the responses. Not to sound horrible, but I am dealing with enough physical crud right now, I sure dont want anything else. The dizzies are about to drive me crazier than I am already.

Hugs to everyone,
Jeaninne

Hi Jeaninne ................

Yes, I get the same thing, from time to time. You described it alright, and I could understand immediatley.
I've had so many head syptoms, I can't count them anymore, but this is one of them. Don't worry ,you're not alone, and you're not nuts .......well, not yet anyway..lol....but wait, once peri is done with us, we will be! lol tongue.gif

I don't have any answers for it, nothing that helps it, unless I take a xanax, which to me,
helps everything! I do believe it is both anxiety, AND peri related! (because I have read great deal on anxiety and panic symtpoms, and thats one of them..........also, of course, peri!!!)

hope this helps!

Yes it helps!!!! Just when I think I have had all the symptoms a new one shows up! It is wonderful to know that I am not alone.

But I definitely think I will be looney toons by the time peri gets done with me cool.gif

Hugs to you and thank you,
Jeaninne
