Rhonda,

I'm sorry I missed this post.
I'm happy for you that the polyp was benign.
Keep in touch about your upcoming surgery.
Hugs,
Arla.

Rhonda,

I didn't reply to your original post because I have never had a uterine polyp, and didn't think I could offer you any insight. I did have a fibroid, years ago...but since meno it has completely disappeared! I didn't even know they could do that.

I am pleased to hear it is benign, and not life threatening. What a huge relief. I, like the others, don't like the waiting. Earlier this year I had a little "bump" removed from my eyelid, and I asked to have it removed as it was sorta ugly. Imagine my surprise when the surgeon called and told me it was cancer!!! I didn't expect that!! Two days later I was in having a piece of my eyelid removed. I have the all clear now, and a scar!! Oh well, I am not so vain I can't deal with it.

Rhonda,
Glad to hear the polyp was benign. I too missed this post. I had a polyp removed a couple of months ago. I had all the other symptoms associated with it. My polyp didn't show up on the ultrasound. I had to go in for a D&C and that was when the polyp was found and removed. I am doing much better now that it is gone.

Thanks JV for your response. My daughter has a cyst on her right ovary, she has had it since she was about 15, shes 26 now.It really hadn't bothered her in the pasts five or six years, but now shes having irregular periods and spotting.I told her to go and see her gyn but she says she will as soon as she has time, she doesn't seem concerned at all.I'm more worried than she is. ohmy.gif We never stop worrying about our children rolleyes.gif

Thanks
