Is anyone else feeling completely drained after thanksgiving?I am exhausted!I cooked the whole meal this time, and the only guest we had was my mother in law who is very sweet-but still I feel so tired.I fell asleep at 5:00 this afternoon, slept for an hour and woke up feeling more tired.I have laundry piled up -both clean and dirty,I want to put up our Christmas tree but I feel too drained. How did I get so far behind my work in just two to three days! Arghhhh!Ladies pray for me and send me some hugs cause I feel so blah.I am so looking forward to Christmas this year,my kids should have a wonderful one-we are getting them some things they have wanted for two years!!I just want to have the energy to fully enjoy it.Thanks for letting me vent.GOD-bless

Yes, yes and yes - I'm drained, too! Although I don't think mine is just from Thanksgiving (I also did almost all the cooking and had several here for dinner), because I was drained before the holiday. In fact, I was thinking about adding to the exhausted posts here somewhere - I'm just having the hardest time getting motivated to do anything, lately. Not sure what is going on, but just wanted you to know that I do feel your pain, Lady. Wish I knew what to suggest that would help us both, but for now, I'm sending hugs, hugs and more hugs your way.

I can be quite a task putting on a big spread. I am sure it was worth it though! Just think Christmas is under a month away!

The simple answer from me is: YES! It surely takes its toll doing all the wonderful work! Relax as much as possible - you have earned it....then there's Christmas. hahahahaha

We don't do a huge meal at Christmas-we just enjoy the day with the kids and eat something special,I think we are doing a chinese dinner this year.Christmas eve we go to my mother in laws and exchange gifts, but Christmas day is spent home with the kids.GOD-bless

Yes, I understand. It doesnt help that I really dont always sleep though the night with peri. I can wake up at 4:30 and lay there till I just get out of bed to have my coffee.

Lady E:

Tons of hugs and prayers coming your way.

I worked my hiney off this year and enjoyed it very much but our guests were my mother and her husband and that is always a job to deal with no matter what day of the year it is.

I hope that you are feeling better.
