yes, a sort of "ache" in the armpit! at least my left breast isn't really hurting RIGHT NOW....(but who knows about tomorrow..lol.. ) , but, i seem to have this "ache", or "soreness" in my LEFT underarm ... it also CAN (but doesn't always), go down my left upper arm, on the outside part of the arm. I keep feeling under my underarm there, to see if there's any lumps or whatever, and i can't find any. It DOES feel as if it's sort of "swollen" under there, not TO swollen, but just a bit more "Puffed" up, .... maybe it's muscular? tendons? glands? I don't know. This is very aggravating, and a little worriesome, although i don't think this could be anything serious, bec. it comes and goes. There are days I don't feel this at all. There are days when it seems to feel not as "swollen" under there, or down the outside of the upper arm.

so, after all of that..........what do you think? (by the way, it's not really superficial, such as a hair, or scratch, or whatever, it feels like it's more INSIDE in there).

I just had the same ache a few days ago! It lasted for a full 2 days and then went away. It also felt a bit swollen and it hurt when I lifted my arm straight up above my head. I felt for lumps but couldn't feel any. It made me very nervous. I don't know if it was a gland thing, or what. I haven't been sick so I really don't know. Now i doesn't hurt anymore. But yesterday I found a little red bump which I think is maybe a hair follicle. It's not getting any worse and it's definitely just on the surface of the skin, so I'm not worrying about it.

My underarm ache did not affect the arm at all, it was just right in the center of the armpit, inside. Very strange. I hope it never comes back. And I really hope yours goes away soon!

I've also has these strange aches in my left arm. Sometimes it's on top of my shoulder. Other times, it's in different spots in my arm. Always the left. Very annoying. I used to get scared thinking there was something wrong with my heart. But since then, I've read that others here have the same weird symptom. Must be another "peri" thing.

I too have the same weird thing in my left arm, feels heavy and odd at times, aches a bit.. and I get the electrical shock feelings in my hands/feet too...

Hi Mydarling - yes, I too have had these aches in the underarm as well. Do they call that residual pain? Think so...try not to worry too much. I know...easier said than done.

Have you had a flu shot recently? I had the same type of symptoms for about three days when I got mine.

It must be a left side thing I am having the same symptoms, and doing the same feeling around, this has been going on for some time now. I also imagine ??? that the underarm area on the left is a bit swollen as well. Holy menopause it's hard to be a woman batman. Hugs Jill

I kind of figured it wasn't anything serious, but then, there are those moments when you're just about to fall asleep, or just waking up, when you get this dread feeling ,that "what if" questioning about it ... I think in my heart i know it's nothing really, but when my mind gets going, watch out! ..lol....but, it's good to know you're not alone with these weird symptoms........so, thank you all again!!!!!

Mydarling I had the same pain under my arm, and after thinking and thinking I found out that it was my purse. Since that day I've been trying to use light purses, do not care anymore for those fashionables heavy purses, and even when are empty are heavy . My neck and sholder pain are gone Some times we have to check what we had been doing or wearing. Hope you feel better today.

Oh of course that is a good point menosick! I too have changed my approach to my bag the size of Delaware, as Robin recently put it. I switched to a nice leather knapsack. It helps too with less painful necks, shoulders, backs...
