Dearest's brother just called. He took her to the ER this morning. I haven't talked to her yet but I will after she has been admitted.

What? OMG, I just sent her a PM asking her how she was because I had this strange feeling something wasn't right. I'm saying a prayer for her right now. PLEASE, let us know what is going on! Our poor Dearest---as if she hasn't had enough trouble this past year! I will be checking here for updates...Mary, as soon as you know anything, let us know.

Alice's brother just called again. He said that Alice was still in the ER because they didn't have a free bed to put her in.

Since she doesn't have a room yet, I can't call her to get the whole "insiders report".

I told him that so many people on PS were praying for her and he really appreciated that and said that he'd tell Alice. He was sure she would feel very happy to learn of all these good thoughts beaming her way.

So...thank you all for your prayers. I'm sure that they're helping Alice on the way to recovery.

Thank you, Mary, for the update. It's so annoying when you have to wait hours in an ER for a bed to open up. Alice has been in my prayers and thoughts all day. Hope we get some good news tomorrow...

I just talked to Alice a little bit ago and she sounded good - as well as can be expected in the hospital! She didn't get to the room until a little before 8PM.

Her doctor came in so we didn't get to finish the call. She might call back tonight or I'll call her again in the morning.

I let her know you were all praying and sending good thoughts and she was very glad of that

Mary: That's a relief...I'm glad to hear she sounded good. A doctor visiting in the evening? I'm impressed; she is in a good place....keep us posted, and thank you for the update.
