Dear Lindy

Sweetheart, sometimes a short dose of Meds such as an Anti Depressent or an Anti Anxiety medicine is needed when the person has reached the stage of not wanting to eat.I did go through this stage big time when I was Menopausal and my daughter had to try and feed me with a teaspoon in between my shaking and crying. She was only about fourteen at the time but knew I needed help.

I went to a Psychiatrist and yes I was given Prozac-a very low dosage-and yes it took about four weeks and my appetite came back and I could get back to my teaching and my life.

If you work with a good Therapist you can both decide when you feel well enough to gradually and very slowly weaning off.The wine is making you more jittery ,honey and you need some good nourishment.Start with a small bowl of soup and a cracker, also yoghurt is light and easy to digest.

Please keep us posted and you are not bothering anyone
We are all Sisters here to help and listen

Warm Wishes
Elizabeth
