Hello ladies

Has anyone every experienced a very quick dark flash across their eyes in migraine. I only get the short, sharp head pains ie ice pick variety but the dark flashes bother me. I also find that I get some disturbance of my vision in bed at night sometimes when, if I move my head quickly on the pillow my eyes have a dizzy sensation. Has anyone had either of these. I am 48 and had a hysterectomy last year but kept my ovaries and am on just over one pump of oestrogel at night times.

This sight is such a comfort when you are worried about anything.

How is is in merry old England? I used to get something similar. It was like the room suddenly would get darker and darker. After experiencing several episodes I went to the optometrist and was told everything was okay. When was your last trip to the optometrist? I would make an appt. just to be on the safe side.

I don't really get "migraines" per se, not like the typical type anyway .... but, I have had a few. Now, DURING those migraines, I don't get those syptoms you mentioned........BUT, I get them other times! lol....those short sharp head pains, and that disturbance of vision if I turn my head a certain way, or to fast, that dizzy feeling. I also experience that "dark flash" thingy, I don't know what that is either.

I'm sure more women have had this, I hope they come on and post, bec. you are not alone.
