Floater, Have you gotten your magnesium oil yet? If so, how do you like it? I thought for a while it was helping with my costchondritis but not anymore. I still use it almost every night.

I never got mine, it never came even though my credit card was charged...ya I got ripped off!!!

Can't you contact your credit card company about this? Give them the name of the website, etc. I don't know if they will help you or not but it's worth a try.

I am sorry to hear that. Did you try contacting the website/company that you ordered it from. And the credit card company like iluvtolaff suggested?

Glad you re-activated this. I'd appreciate info, too. I wonder if it's best used at night and whether it is water soluble. Looking forward to trying it. I use effervescent stuff now but would much prefer something topical, for targeted use.

Hi,
I use Mag oil. Get it at my local health food store. It's about $15.00 CDN for the bottle. I only use it at night because it knocks me out!!! I really like using it on sore spots, like pulled muscles because it helps soothe. But the main reason I use it is to calm me and help me sleep.
I also give it to my kids when I remember....:-)

Last night I took cal/mag liquid before bed. Between that and my progesterone, I'm pretty much gone for the night (providing someone in the house doesn't wake me up.....;-).

I love the oil though.

I have been using the oil for a couple years now and I love. I get it from my chiropractor. It's wonderful for cramps in your legs at night. And I spray some on my chest before bed and it helps me sleep.

Thanks to you both, directly upstairs ^. I see a bunch offered at Amazon, so am headed there. I'll post the results after a trial run.

I finally ordered some again, this time from a Canadian distributor and I got it right away. Whew!!

I have been using it off and on for about 3 weeks. I find I have to wash it off after 20 or 30 minutes as mine is very strong and is kind of unpleasant if left on the skin too long. I was using it in the mornings for a few days, but I found it made me feel tired so I switched to night and that is much better. I have also used it on my SO when he is really stiff and sore from work....again, he has to shower it off as it makes his skin really itchy, but it does help the aches, pains and stiffness.

Just to add to what Floater has mentioned, I have tried using the oil on my youngest son who is a red head and has the very sensitive, white skin to go with his blazing red hair....it really irritated him so I had to wash it off pronto.
For me, I have no issue with it on my skin. I don't feel it at all, but if you do have sensitive skin maybe do a patch test with it.

And, there's no way I could use it in the morning. It really makes me sleeeeeeepy.
Also helps with nice BM's next morning biggrin.gif

OK, got my oil and have used it for three nights straight and believe it helps me sleep, something I am not at all good at. I've applied it liberally to the backs of my calves. It doesn't stay oily, and soon absorbs, leaving a very slight tacky feel. I didn't experience too much sting and didn't wash it off. Two of the nights were after good, long workouts where my legs were mildly cramping. The oil definitely helped with that. I think it may have calmed down my restless legs, too, but that's hard to say since I take a lot of other stuff for that.

I used Ancient Minerals Ultra Pure Magnesium Oil. I bought an 8 oz. spray bottle. Thumbs up.

Gill, that is the same brand that I have. Seems to be good stuff from the research I did on it.

I just found this thread. I will be asking my doctor about it. I get supplements from her.

I ordered the Ancient Minerals brand, too after reading the posts and doing some

on-line research. I'm hoping (fingers and toes crossed) that it will help with hot flashes

and sleep. I plan to spray it on my husband to see if it will help with his frequent

headaches and arthritis pains.

Will let you know how it works...

P.S. Got the senior discount at the grocery store yesterday---was flabbergasted

as I did not ask for it and I am WAY too young to qualify! That magnesium oil can't

get here fast enough happy.gif
