Just had to tell somebody---I got the results from the D&C I had about a week and a half ago. The polyp that was removed is benign. Yippeeee!!! Now I hope that takes care of all these crazy symptoms. Well, at least some of them anyway.

So glad to hear your good news!!!! The bleeding should stop now from the polyp...When I had one removed the doctor told me the bleeding should calm itself and sure enough it did. What your body is trying to do is rid itself of a foreign body that is not supposed to be there.

I had a Dand C several months ago concerning irregular and heavy periods. Nothing going on there but I have opted to have my ovaries removed lapriscopically in Feb. Lessens Ovarian Cancer and Breast cancer risk if done before menopause. Easy as pie I hear but might have to take hormones for a short while. Worth the risk!!! Yippee

I think my ovaries have totally shut down anyway. I am post-menopause now but was still spotting. That was what got me in for the D&C. I guess it was the polyp that was causing all the spotting. I am glad it is over with. Hope your surgery goes well in February.
