UGH! i go from one thing to another! OK, first, let me say, that i've been dealing with a sore LEFT breast now for 5 days...i have no idea why, but it started about 2 days before my period, and today is the 3rd day of my period, and i still have it....BUT, yesterday, on the 2nd day of my period, my sore LEFT breast, felt much better....but today, it's back! what the heck?
now, i wanted to just give that as a background for this :......ok, today, i noticed that the muscle, or tissue, or cartiledge that is under your armpit (if you lift up your arm, and lay it across the top of your head, like when you're going to shave) you'll either see, or feel, sort of a long winding kind of "hard" long muscle, or tissue under there, that runs down alongside your breast, and then, towards your back. Well, this is now swollen, THEN, i noticed, on top of that, a small "bump" on it, a tiny bit down from directly under the armpit. (but it is still considered under the armpit). Now i've been touching it all the time, for fear that this is cancer or something AGAIN! ..lol....i just now noticed, in the bathroom mirror, that above that little "bump"(which does hurt if you touch it), are a few other little "pimples", with little sort of "bumps" underneath them too. Now, realize, i was shaving my armpits the other night! I did not have this then! BUT I DID HOWEVER, ALREADY HAVE THE SORE LEFT BREAST.....and THIS underarm thing is on the LEFT underarm, ..same arm! It prob. doesn't have anything to do with the sore breast, but you know how the health anxiety gets! I've done some reasearch on the net, and it SEEMS like those bumps, could be an ingrown hair FROM SHAVING! So, wow, i didn't know that! But again, let me remind you guys, that the left breast was already VERY sore these days, AND.....also, it's not only those little "bumps", but that swollen muscle, or gland, or tissue under there as well.!!!!
I know i tend to worry a lot lately, and i sure wish i wasn't like this! I wish i was like i used to be....had this been a few years ago, i wouldn't have thought twice about it!
But NOW, my mind immediatley goes to breast cancer, or some insane thing like that! I just had a full "well woman" exam on June 9th....and the dr. (and i posted this here, this was a woman dr...and darn, she WASN'T nice! VERY ROUGH!, she kneaded my breasts like she was kneading bread....IT WAS VERY PAINFUL!).....but she said i was fine. But, that was June 9th. A friend of mine said to me that this is nothing, and is prob. from shaving the other night, and that breast cancer, usually doesn't hurt, UNTIL it's in it's later stages, and by then, i'd really know it. My LEFT breast, although it is now aching and painful these days, is fine looking, nothing at all, different. And the fact that yest., on the second day of my period, it nearly STOPPED HURTING kind of indicates to me, it's hormonal. So, that's one thing.....but now, like i said, i noticed that gland, or cartiledge or wahtever under the arm, to be swollen, and those little bumps. One, is a little larger than the others, the others are litterarly little pimples, but the one on the bottom, is a little larger, and almost looks as if it's UNDER the skin.........whereas the others, which are in a straight line vertically above it, are definatley red, and pimples...on the SURFACE of the skin.
ok, i'm going on and on again..........obviously, out of nerves! The prob. is, once i get an idea in my head, then it's hard for me to shake it off!
ladies, if there is anyone who has had this before, PLEASE post and let me know!!!!! It's prob. nothing, and the swelling will "deflate", and the bumps go away, but i guess i need reassurance again!
