Hi Dear PS Sisters,

Thank you all for thinking of me! So sweet of you all! I appreciate all your hugs, kind thoughts and prayers. I am using my hubby's laptop computer in bed so bear with me, I type slow on it ,do not like this keyboard much but least it will keep me in touch with you all for awhile while I am recouperating.

Surgery went well. Took just over an hour for the surgery. And I came out of the general anethesia fine. It was a peaceful feeling slowly waking up like others had told me. I came home on Friday morning. My hubby is taking care of me and my son helps off and on. I am sore course, since had to have a abdominal hysterectomy. Yes Liz, I can say now that the surgery wasn't bad , it sure was fast like davinci had said and the waiting is the worst part of having it although the pain I'd say too is the worst. It wasn't so bad at the hospital since I still had the bandage on but then the Dr. took it off Friday morning so now I feel more pain, on my lower tummy where the incision is. I'm getting out of bed and walking slowly around off and on, making sure I do that so will help me get better sooner. But I sure know when to get back in bed, wears me out just walking around abit. I feel like a really old lady right now. lol But soon I know I'll be a new woman when I feel better. I'm just so glad the surgery and all the worrying I did is over and now I just have to concentrate on recovering.

Hi Liz, arla, suz, Lost, Karen,

Thanks to you all for thinking of me and wishing me well! Thanks for the hugs also. You all are so kind, thanks again! I'm practically feeling back to normal now, just have a bit of soreness still. I been up and walking the last few weeks alot more and not in bed resting much anymore just somtimes I sleep in till noon. And then I usually go to bed earlier now. But most time I'm on the couch resting watching TV or reading. I had my 2 week post op visit with my Dr. last week and he took the tape off my incision and said it looked good, healing well. I go back in a few weeks to see him for my 6 week post op.. I'm able to sit now at the desk now and use our other computer so I'll be able to catch up on some more Pms and mesages. Sure feels good to be feeling back to amost normal. There are some things I still can't do but Dr. said I could do lightweight duties now like laundry, dishes, and cooking. Which I've been doing all week but I do it at a slower pace still but feels great to be up and moving alot more now.

Thanks much for your comment/ kind words to me. Sorry I posting later,I been so been busy most of last month and this month getting ready to move and we moved last weekend in our new house so now I been busy unpacking. Hope you're doing well!

I'm feeling great,recovered all the way. I had my 6 week check up with my Dr. a few days before Thanksgiving and he said I was recovered well, and could go back to normal activities. It's a good thing too I did well recovering and just in time, since now with all this work of moving. Ugh I hate moving, is so much work. Thank you for your prayers too. I appreciate it, you are so kind.
