I have never had nose bleeds until last December. I have them maybe 2/3 a month. They are not huge, but really annoying and I don't knwo when I am going to get them. Never mind that I have PTSD from my heavy periods, now this! Please let me know if you have had similar issues :0)

Assuming your blood pressure is in the normal range, nose bleeds can be caused by dryness in the air, allergies or even a sinus infection. Make sure you're drinking enough water. If your home environment is too dry, you may want to get a humidfier.

It doesn't hurt to get it checked out.

My husband gets them in the winter because of the forced hot air heat in our home. The rest of the year, he's fine.

I agree it could be cause of the weather and I and my brother had them as kids.

My 2 sons have had them but especailly my youngest til about his senior year in high school.

The tappered down once I put him on Alfalfa supplements but also this was after a doc checked him out and wanted to send him to a ENT doc and we decided to go the natural route first.

I also had him use that nose spray by Ayrs I believe that is the name, you can find it at walmart.
They also have the gel you can rub up there to keep it mosit.
