I am not real sure how to describe this but will try. I want to see if anyone else is experiencing this or something similar.
Sometimes, my ears feel like they get full then clear (pop but not really pop like on an airplane) really fast. It happens a few times then clears up. Also sometimes when I am on the phone, I will be listening to the person and my ears will start doing that but then I will off balance, almost like I want to pass out. If I pull the phone away from ear it is not as bad but still there. These things come and go and usually clear up quickly.
I have wondered if it is a symptom/sign of anxiety or is there something going on. I will say that I had a complete hearing workup about a year and half ago. Have some hearing loss and fluid but no special problem.
Is this anxiety, peri or could it be something else? It makes me crazy but I get anxious about it and so on goes the vicious cycle.
Thanks to everyone for any imput.

Stitch,
I get that from allergy and sinus issues, sometimes a decongestant can help but not always, holding your nose and blowing our air can help too. It can affect your equilbrium but I don't worry about it much, it IS uncomfortable though!
Hang in there!

I was diagnosed with TMJ this year, this was after going about a month with a full feeling in my right ear and many other symptoms. I just knew that I had an ear infection and before my diagnosis I really did not know much about TMJ. Now, I'm not saying this is your situation because I know that anything from allergies (even food allergies), to water in your ears can cause various symptoms. Have you tried any otc meds. for allegies? I hope you get relief soon.
