Yippeeeeeeee, I am so excited!! I have not had a headache for a week now!! Everyday, I have been feeling better and better. I hope this is not a 'calm before the storm'. I found out I have allergies, so I have been taking Nasaquort everyday for a week. I have also decided to listed to my gastroenterologist and drink my Miralax everyday and it has helped tremendously with the pressure type pain I have been feeling over my kidney area. Since May, I have had every medical test under the sun and of course everything came out 'normal', even routine bloodwork is excellent. I was so sure that the doctors didn't know what they were talking about. So, last week I decided to just take their advice and do what they told me to (specially after my colonoscopy that came out fine and he told me that the pain was from stool not totally emptying and getting trapped in the folds of the intesting and that was causing the pain) I thought in my stupid mind that I knew more than they did!!) My health anxieties are finally in check since I decided to take their advice. Hopefully now, I can sail throught this perimenopause without thinking I have some terminal illness. Only test I have left to do is my endometrial biopsy next month. Since I haven't had a normal period since last october (i have had brown spotting twice since) maybe, just maybe I will be done with this perio and keep feeling better and better!!! Looking back, I have think I have been in perio for at least 4 years. That is when I started gaining weight, losing my hair and anxiety that has gotten worse over those couple years. I have never felt better than I have this past week and I am just soooooooooo over the top!!! Like I said, I am crossing my fingers that I stay like this!!!

How did you find out you had allergies and what are you allergic to?

I found out through a brain MRI. I had a migraine with aura last month, so the doc sent me for this MRI. It came out normal EXCEPT for a serious sinus infection. So, of course doc sent me to an Ear Nose and Throat doctor. He said the sinus infection was not one that warranted antibiotics because I am blowing clear snot only and sneezing alot. My ear tubes also had a lot of swelling/fluid in them. He said it was allergy related and gave me Nasaquort. I will just say, that stuff is awesome. I take it once a day. He set me up for allergy testing that I am supposed to do in 3 weeks. He said I am most likely allergic to the dust mites, molds and pollens based on the sinus findings in the MRI. So, I am still headache free and feeling really good. Perimenopause can heighten allergies, I found out............so that is another lovely thing :-( NOT!! LOL I am just keeping my fingers crossed that if I can keep getting relief for the differnt symptoms of peri, that I will keep and stay feeling better and the health anxieties will stay 'in check' so to speak. For now, I am good good good and loving it!!! Thanks
