For all of you ladies out there who are still flashing away, I thought you might find this amusing...

I had lunch this afternoon with a gal a tad younger that me (who isn't ?) and couple of professional gentleman (you know, suits, starched shirts) and as we got deeper into conversation which was quite the debate, I noticed that her neck and face were getting redder and redder and yep you guessed it, sweat started pouring from her face and neck! I felt so bad for her, I used to just HATE when that happened to me!!

Well, she calmly stood up, removed her jacket and looked the men straight in the eyes and said:
"oh, don't mind me, I am just enjoying my own personal summer!"

and she proceeded to mop her brow and continued the conversation...... I applauded!

Attitude is everything ladies, no?

I am gonna have to remember that line!! I have had a few hot flashes during meetings. Enjoying my own personal summer!! haha!!

What I would give to be so nonchalant about the hot flashes!!

My husband cought me driving up my driveway last winter when it was 22 degrees..in my bra only. Stripped off the clothes at a four way stop on the interstate. Could not take it anymore!

Yes Provo I remember hearing about you driving home that way...what a reaction hub must have had. "Is she hot or overheated????"
