Oh Dear....Where do I begin ? I have started Meni Just before I turned 51 in August of this year but lately I dont know if I coming or going. I have no idea when my next period is due because they are all over the Place. I missed a month in july then when I did have one I wasn't too keen on the smell of it..For the last 10 days I have had Cramps as if I am due again and my Breasts are very sore.

Every minor thing can make my horns come out of my head, I Cry a lot, Shout a lot and feel Basically Like Poo! This is just the start of it, how on Earth will I get through it? My Dr is non to Keen on giving me HRT but said he will as a last resort. I am not too sure if it will be a good idea either but know I can't go on the way I am, its not fair on my family. I have plenty of support from them but I am a Nightmare to live with.

I am already on anti-depressents for anger and anxiety so I can't see my mood swings getting any better.

Yes I can relate to your post, most of us can. I turned 50 this year and have only had one period which was in July. Many times I will feel like I'm PMS but no bleeding actually occurs! It's very frustrating.

I think that peri hit me strong over the past 5 years. The worst for me has been those dark moods and fatigue. This year has brought along more things like, back/joint pains. I suppose this is all connected to the age factor as well, along with my job.

These mid-life health issues are very challenging, I gave in and tried BHRT (bioidentical hormones), they have made a huge improvement for me.

Glad you are here and hanging with us. I have had and do have symptoms you describe. Am 45 now and this started several years ago.

No advice, I am sorry but wanted to say and welcome you.
