I cant remember if I have seen anyone else has posted about this so I am asking.

Has anyone else gotten an eye twitch? I know this is an anxiety symptom but I get it even when I am not feeling particularly anxious. It is my left eye only and it can be right below the lower lid or it can be the upper lid.

Also I am getting the weirdest pains in my toes. It is usually one toe at a time. The pain feels like I am being burned by something, just in one toe. It takes a few minutes and then it passes.

Anyone else?

Well I have had the eye twitches for sure....usually eat a banana or two, and some potatoes. I think it is a potassium deficiency. Is it really?? tongue.gif I don't know but seems to work. Works for my son as well.

A burning toe? Well, no. Can't say I have had that. Burning feet is a common peri/meno symptom. Maybe you just have a scaled down version of it??? blink.gif Dunno!

Had the eye twitching thing a few months back for ages, seems to have gone for the moment but I do remember having an anxiety meltdown around that time. I read that a lack of vit B2 can cause an eye twitch so I upped my B complex and it eventually went away. Of course stress depletes our B vitamins so there may be something in that.

As for the toe thing well I have a seriously itchy middle toe on my left foot, not sure why but it comes and goes but drives me insane at times.

Hi stitchnanny,

Last year when all my issues started, I had an eye twitch for seven months off and on. SEVEN months. How maddening. Went to the doctor and the eye doctor. Each told me "harmless" and gave it a big name.

So, once again, researched it here and found that adding B-complex and a banana a day helped.

Then one day the twitching just went away. Weird. Just. Went. Away.

My toes didn't hurt, but I would get brick hard calves for no apparent reason. The doctor had me add tonic water, 8 ounces a day, to my diet for the quinine in it. Guess it helped, hard to say. I also would stretch and honest, I would have to stretch out my calves for a half hour to get them to loosen. Very painful.

Now I haven't had that for a long time. Weird.

Good luck, stitchnanny! Take heart that this is probably self limiting. Annoying, but probably not serious.

The doctor called my eye twitches, blepharospasm.

For what it is worth.

Hi,
I am sorry that you suffer from this.
I have the eye twitching on my right eye! Strange, because I have almost every other symptom on the left.
For me it goes together with a weird tight feeling around the right temple that sometimes radiates to my right ear and cheek bone. It makes me sick and anxious and it comes and goes. Hate it!
Thank you for this post. I don't feel so alone anymore.

Yes I definitely get the eye twitching thing with a band like headache. Definitely anxiety with me. Now if I could just figure out how to stop the anxiety!!! Gonna try the potassium thing cause I am convinced my adrenals need help and I think that helps adrenals. Who the heck knows.
