Well I got my results from the doctor. But he never really said I was in Peri or not. He just said things like I was getting older and things like that. You know I only had five minutes with him.

Does anyone know by these results if I am in peri...I am 38
Test was done in Luteal phase

progesterone-4.2
estradiol-86
testosterone-78 (which was two points higher that it should be)

I wonder about the estradiol because the range on the resluts goes up to 247 and I am only at 86 which to me is much lower.

I was also told I am reactive hypoglycemic, when I went online I was shocked to see the symptoms were very similiar to peri menopause.
I guess being hypoglycemic is pretty common and is often undiagnosed because it does not show up in a regular fasting glucose test. I was tested two hours after I had eaten and my result was a 50, it should be above 70. Anyone Hypoglycemic?

I have been hypoglycemic forever. It mimics anxiety if I skip a meal or dont snack. Now what I do is always have something with me. I dont leave the house without a piece of fruit or pretzels. Every two hours I eat a fruit, veggie, or pretzels and it keeps it in check. Also, I never skip a meal even if I'm not hungry I have something light.

HI and welcome,
I am also Hypo. and have been for years before peri......however I believe it has been more of a problem lately.

The results I am not sure what to say becasue they fluctuate so much, I can only give you mine and compare.......FSH 36.7, Estradiol 21, Progesterone 1.11, Test. 18 ( the test. at 18 was a reading 2 years ago, the rest was in April of this year)

I am 41 and my periods are very irregular. The hypo is getting harder and harder to control...and my symptoms when it falls are more drastic lately.

HUGS Mikki

Thanks, I just ordered some books about eating right for a hypoglycemic. I usually eat high carbs and really don't care for meat. This is going to be so hard for me.

Anyone else know about the results???
