Hi again ladies!

I'm 51 and my last regular period was in April 2007. However from time to time since then I have experienced some spotting and bleeding off and on. I'm on cenestin & progestin, along with high blood pressure meds and anti-anxiety meds!! (I still have all my "female parts", if that matters!)

The last few days I have experienced some more spotting, but today's was bright red and concerned me a little bit. Does anyone else experience this after you're supposed past menopause or does this mean that maybe I'm not past menopause yet? I go to the doctor tomorrow, but meanwhile, this is causing my nerves to be really shaky! I guess I'm looking for a little pre-doctor support!! Does this mean something's wrong or is my body still trying to do it's monthly thing??? Any support out there?? Thanks!

The exact same thing is happening to me. Haven't had a period in 11 months. Just started spotting last Saturday thru Monday. Called my doctor and he wants to do an endometrial biopsy. (Oh, how I hate those things!) He thinks that I may not be post-meno yet. He wants to do the biopsy to be on the safe side. I feel it's a good idea to get things checked out. I do have a tendency to get a thickened endometrium. This isn't a good thing and that can lead to the spotting and other major problems. However, I did have an ultrasound the end of June and everything was OK so I am not too concerned about it. I figure it's all part of this meno journey.
