I've never had allergies before but now notice since I am in peri that my sinuses are stuffedand I have fullness across the bridge of my nose and headache on the top of my head. SOmetimes hurts to roll my eyes upwards. Pressure feeling, not really pain. If anyone has ever experienced this, what is the best sinus stuff to take? I don't have a runny nose or a cold. Just a feeling of fullness. (i may have asked this question earlier, but my memory *****) LOL !! Thanks

Since starting peri my sinus 'have been troubling me as well.my latest issue has been post-nasal drip -no other symptoms just a near constant drip down the back of my throat.I finally went and got some generic clariten and I am actually getting better.Much less drainage.Maybe you could try that.Get better soon.GOD-bless

Since I've cut down on processed sugars, my sinuses and headaches have cleared up immensely. I still have post-nasal drip but it's much thinner.

Hi DK

I too have a stuffed up sinus problem...I don't notice it so much during the day, but at night it really bothers me
and I sleep badly because I often wake up with a parched mouth because of sleeping with my mouth open!!

I have tried a nasal spray from 'Wholefoods' which is a saline and aloe based spray...which does seem to work, I ran out and I keep forgetting to pick another one up!!.....I used to get the headache/full feeling too....like Marrin said, sometimes if you eliminate certain foods - mainly wheat and dairy and probably sugar (which is hard for me to completely eliminate!) - the problem can go away. I don't have any post nasal drip problem though, it's just like my airways are constricted.

The sinus situation is rough now for me. I have a very heavy feeling in my head, sort of dizzy but not quite. My ears are popping and I am quite congested. I try the neti pot, it's not doing the job. I think it's time for sudafed or zyrtek. They seem to help me without any side effects. Good luck, I hope this helped, sorry it's a week later, life has been busy.

I'm having the very same problem, specially in the mornings, I started to feel my eyes watery, and later on the day my nose started with the feeling of pressure or fullness and stuffiness across the bridge of my nose with pain on top of my scalp, causing me also anxiety to hell mad.gif Yesterday I was at work when this happened and I had to keep my sanity in order, but I was living a pure hell. This is bad, do not wish to my worse enemy.

Dear 'menosick'
What an apprropriate name! Can relate totally.Got up yesterday with terrific sinus headache and nausea.Took Advill but it barely made a difference. Then I took a warm shower and started sipping hot water and lemon juice. It also does cause extreme anxiety so I took a Zanax before bed with Panadol P.M. for pain and got a few hours sleep.Today, thank God it has eased up a lot but the pressure in the head I wouldn't wish on anyone.
Have always suffered from sinus problems since my twenties but with Menopause they came on full bang.
I do hope that you are feeling a little better. Can't wait for the cooler weather as it really helps!
God Bless

Yea, I think this is what bugs me the most! I have never in my life had allergies (if this is what it is) some days my head just feels like it is stuffed full. and it hurts on the top of my head and when i roll my eyes around and the bridge of my nose. when it is clear, i feel so good. what the heck? this morning it felt like that, but after lunch it has subsided a great deal and i feel good. when it gets congested like that it does make me nervous too and it causes stabbing pains sometimes. i dont know what to take for it. i have tried so many things. hopefully this fall and winter i wont get this feeling cause there will not be pollen in the air???? but i dont know. all i know is it is soooooooo frustrating!!

Can sinus pressure cause pain on the top of your head? I have had that for a week, I thought maybe I had an infection on my scalp but I can't see anything when I look with the mirror. I have felt alittle pressure in my sinus area, but not too bad. It would ease my mind if I knew the top of the head pain was related to my sinuses. Thanks, Hope

Yes, I have had pain on the top of my head and at one point told my doctor about it, he said it was sinuses. I hope you feel better. It is a rough season this year. Good luck.
