Hi all

I seem to have lost the ability to know when I need a wee - I just don't seem to feel the urge to pee very often?!?!?!?

BUT........

I have noticed that when I have a hot flash it seems to be linked with needing to pee?!?!?!?!?!?

Input welcome or just tell me I am as mad as I think I am

Hi Phiz,

You are certainly not mad. Hot flashes are caused by vaso-motor irregularities and can most certainly bring on the need for a 'pee.'

yes i get the same way after i feel the hotflash i start getting chills then peeing every few min utes.

This would happen to me at night. Every time I woke with a hot flash I would have to "pee".

My symptoms seem to have morphed again

I still dont feel the urge to pee, but get a bloated stomach and start to feel queasy, then I guess I must need a pee so I go to the loo, still with no urge to pee, sit down and push and I just pee for ages

(shhhhh dont tell my body but I seem to be having a well deserved break from the hot flushes)

I did mention this to the doctor and he did not seem concerned so nor will I
